Hello friends, today I have brought a very happy news, Lohardaga district will soon become the center of medical studies for the students who used to study far away in Jharkhand. With the establishment of a medical college here, the youth here will be able to get facilities in medical studies. The nature of higher education will change in Lohardaga. The hopes of building a medical college and hospital will get a boost in the new year, for this the plan related to the establishment of a medical college has gained momentum.

The youth of Latehar and Gumla districts will also be benefited by the start of medical studies. Apart from this, the youth of the border areas of Ranchi district will also be benefitted. Work on both the important schemes is expected to be expedited in the new year. With both the important schemes, the vision of a healthy society will be fulfilled.

Approval has been received for the Medical College. The green signal has been received from the state government for this. Not only this, 18.36 acres of land has been selected for the medical college in Tigra village of Sadar block of Lohardaga district. Further process is being completed from the state government level. On the other hand, along with selection of 4.5 acres of land for construction of Sadar Hospital at Juria Road in Sadar block of Lohardaga district, Lohardaga has also got allocation of Rs.6 crore.

The land identified for the proposed Medical College and new Sadar Hospital in Lohardaga district was also inspected by the then Health Additional Chief Secretary. The budget has been passed for a 100-bed multistorey hospital in Lohardaga district. Work is on on the plan regarding the medical college in Lohardaga district. Students will be able to come to Sadar Hospital and do research on patients. With the establishment of Medical College in Lohardaga district, the medical system here will get a new identity. People will not need to go anywhere else for better treatment.
